A personal approach to your next move.
I’m Jay Caracci, a HomeSmart Connect real estate broker based in Arlington Heights. I help buyers and sellers across Chicago, the North Shore, and the Northwest Suburbs make sense of their options and move forward with a clear plan.
Originally from Western New York—Go Bills!—I made Chicago home in 2003 while studying Marketing and Sales Leadership at DePaul University. More than 20 years in sales, negotiation, and marketing, including full-time real estate since 2013, shape the way I work: listen first, explain the choices, and stay involved through closing.
As a multi-million-dollar producer, marketer, and host of The Not Your Typical Agent Podcast, I bring a fresh perspective to finding a home and telling its story. From first-time buyers and growing families to downsizers, luxury clients, investors, and city-to-suburb or out-of-state moves, the strategy starts with you.
At home in Arlington Heights.
I live here with my wife, Elena, and our two daughters. Outside of real estate, you’ll usually find me out and about with my girls or on the golf course.
Getting Involved in the Golf World
I started working as a Wilson Golf Technical Representative in the spring of 2023, and I continue to do it for a pretty simple reason: I love golf, I love meeting people, and I enjoy helping someone get more out of a game they’re passionate about.
Real estate is my full-time profession and my professional priority. My work with Wilson is a personal passion I fit around my real estate commitments, with the same focus and availability my clients expect from me.
I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not the best golfer. I wouldn’t even call myself a very good one. I can whack the ball around, keep up, and have a great time doing it. What I do bring is a strong understanding of golf equipment and technology—and how to help someone find clubs that fit their game.
For me, a fitting starts with a conversation. What do you enjoy about your game? What frustrates you? What are you hoping to improve? From there, it’s about making the technology understandable, exploring the options, and finding a setup that works for the person swinging the club. The right fit can help you play with more confidence and enjoy your time on the course that much more.
I think of it the way someone else might think of coaching kids’ soccer: connecting with people, bringing enthusiasm, and helping someone make progress in something they care about. That’s why I keep doing it. If I can share my love for golf and help someone leave a fitting a little more excited for their next round, that’s a good day.
